- Rated Function Temperature, Tf
- The temperature at which a thermal fuse changes its state and breaks the circuit under minimum current that can only detect the operation state of the thermal fuse. The tolerance according to UL standards 1020 is + 0℃, - 10℃.
- Holding Temperature, Th
- The maximum temperature at which a thermal fuse can be maintained without causing a change in the state of conductivity while conducting rated current for 168 hours.
- Rated Current, Ir
- The maximum current which a thermal fuse is able to carry for the time specified in TC without alteration of its functioning temperature.
- Interrupting Current, Ib
- The maximum temperature at which a thermal fuse can be maintained without causing a change in the state of conductivity while conducting rated current for 168 hours.
- Transient Overload Current, Ip
- A direct-current pulse train which a thermal fuse is able to withstand without impairing its characteristics.
- Rated Voltage, Vr
- The voltage is used to classify a thermal fuse.
